Avurt IM-5 PAVA Launcher

I suppose there is a good reason that the company who makes the IM-5 PAVA Launcher is called “Avurt”. As in, Avert criminals from attacking you.
Well, all joking aside, there is a good reason to make a device that is part taser, part pepper spray. The IM-5 uses compressed nitrogen to launch small balls of Pelargonic Acid Vanillylamide, or PAVA, to stop thieves blind. The IM-5 even comes with a laser sight for over 40 feet of accuracy.
